Bethel Power Equipment

February, 2010

As I write this letter, snow still blankets the ground and it is below freezing. After a very quiet January, the lack of snow really hurt, we look forward to much more activity in February.

We are currently servicing machines under our winter service special. If you have not brought in your machines, now is the time to do so, to receive our 10% discount on parts and labor. Homeowners get $50 off pickup and delivery too. The News Times Sunday coupon, the Comcast and Charter TV ads, and our website, seem to be getting the word out.

We are receiving shipments of product every week. All our parts orders from Briggs & Stratton, Kawasaki, Kohler, Toro, Exmark, Echo and Stihl are in and with last week’s arrival of over 1000 blades, we are all set for Spring. All our whole goods have arrived from Simplicity, Echo, Stihl & American CLS Log Splitters, and most of the Exmark machines have arrived as well. We should receive the Stand-on Exmarks and Toro lawn mowers this month.

We are in negotiations with Honda Outdoor Power Equipment to bring in Honda Generators, Pumps and Lawn Mowers to roundout our product offerings. We have been servicing their equipment for years and Honda has a terrific record of performance and serviceability. We should have products in our showroom by April.

A thought for February: why not take advantage of a thaw and get your soil tested. We have brochures at the shop and most people will choose the standard test that only costs $8.00 from UConn’s Extension service… this is the best time of the year to get a soil test done because UConn’s turnaround time is quick and you can plan exactly what needs to be done in Spring, when most folks are very busy.

Thank you, we truly appreciate your business.

Mark, Kevin & and the entire Bethel Power Team
